Scheduling 

I see clients by appointment during daytime and early evening hours. Please contact me on the contact page to schedule an initial free 15-minute consultation. During that initial call we will schedule our first appointment. 

FEES AND INSURANCE

Rates for individual sessions are $215 for a 50-minute session, and $245 for family therapy sessions.

We are in-network with Pacific Source, and are an out-of-network provider for all other insurance. For out-of-network services, you would pay at time of service and I will provide you with a "superbill" which you may submit to your insurance for reimbursement.

Please check with your insurance to understand your out-of-network benefits. 

For session payment we accept cash, checks, and credit cards (including for HSA and FSA accounts). 

A NOTE ON PAYING FOR THERAPY

Experienced and effective counseling can be considered an investment, particularly for teens and young adults. 

Many of the issues that teens and young adults experience benefit from counseling and can be resolved or reduced, especially when addressed during the critical developmental stage of young adulthood.

Catch problem behaviors early. 

By addressing underlying issues before they become chronic, we introduce positive ways of managing and responding to life experiences.

The benefits of early intervention ripple out to support future employment, relationships, life satisfaction, and physical health.

Brain and neural plasticity are at their peak during this age.

While no therapy is a guarantee, the research demonstrates again and again that early intervention and use of evidenced-based therapy plays a pivotal role in reducing or avoiding significant mental health challenges in adulthood. 

Location

Our office is situated in a welcoming and lovely old Portland home, surrounded by other mental health practitioners. We are centrally located on SE Division Street, close to Cleveland, Central Catholic, Franklin and Grant High Schools. We are minutes from NE and SW Portland, Lake Oswego, downtown and close to the Ross Island, Hawthorne, and Morrison bridges. The #2 Trimet bus runs right to our front door.
